In his book, “Developing the Leader within you”, John Maxwell talks about a speaker who said that, “There are two things that are most difficult to get people to do: to think, and to do things in the order of importance.”
One of the challenges of leadership is creating time to think. It’s so easy to get caught up in doing that one rarely has time to reflect on and analyze their activities. Thinking enables the leader to focus on who is important, to learn from the past and, shape the future properly. Thinking is key to discipline, focus and sustainable success! Thinking is the twin sister of planning and, elder sister to “doing”.
