I personally believe that Artificial Intelligence will impact the management of human capital (and already is). From recruitment, to on-boarding and talent management, Artificial Intelligence is poised to enhance how we recruit, provide better experience for new employees and help better manage current employees.
An example of how Artificial Intelligence can be used in HR is in providing information to employees, regarding their employee benefits. A chat-bot can be implemented and made available, especially to new employees, that would cater to 80% of the email inquiries HR Staff receive in this area.
AI definitely presents an opportunity for proactive talent management vs the traditional reactive approach to talent management.
